Meet the Team

Certified Laser Enthusiasts

Meet Stephanie

I've lived in Bend since the late 70s when my family moved here from Central America. Yes, I am one of the lucky ones to have called Bend my home and like a true Bendite I've played hard and feel it. I've also made a living in the restaurant industry for over 30 years and that too caused havoc on my body.  In the winter of 2021, I started getting sick and then kept getting worse. Four months passed and I was the sickest I'd ever been in my life. With that sickness came massive amounts of body pain, which later was diagnosed as an auto-immune disease. I was fortunate to have found Laser Therapy (and a great doctor) to get me on my journey of feeling better. For me, it was a very easy, quick, and smart decision to get involved with Laser Therapy as it helped me to regain my life. I can't tell you how excited I am to also give this gift and this information to you so you too can start LIVING YOUR BEST LIFE.

Meet Ela

I was born and raised in Bend, Oregon and wouldn't want it any other way. My life so far has been full... full of travel, full of studies, full of work, full of cats, full of snowboarding, and unfortunately, full of chronic pain. At the age of 7, I became sick and by the age of 10, I was diagnosed with a rare auto-inflammatory disease, which I have had to learn to manage. Fortunately, I found Laser Therapy and after several months of ongoing treatments, managing everyday flare ups easier than ever. I know now that I can play on the mountain, then hit up treatment and feel the benefits of laser right away. I am living a (mostly) pain-free life and am excited to start helping you live a pain-free life too!

 Meet Matt

I moved from New Hampshire to Bend in the Fall of 2007 after accepting a job offer from a local Environmental Consulting Firm. I had been a nomad for most of my life, but I was excited to learn about Central Oregon, advance my career, and maybe, finally settle down. The moment I set foot in Bend I knew this was the place for me. This place had everything I could ever want; mountains, lakes, rivers, breweries, great people, and sunshine. Needless to say, I was excited about the future. However, the 2008 recession happened and after several years I, like many others, was left without work. Unsure which direction to go, but convinced I did not want to leave Bend, I enrolled at Central Oregon Community College. Earning my EMT certification was my first priority because I thought it would make me more well-rounded when the economy improved. Little did I know that it would radically change my life. Through that class, I was introduced to the world of Paramedicine and Firefighting and I immediately, at the age of 30, changed my career. I was attracted to the physicality, intensity, and service to the community. Since then I have spent the last 14 years pursuing and achieving my goal of becoming a Firefighter/Paramedic in Central Oregon and it has been amazing. I am honored to call Central Oregon my home and serving our community has been a privilege. However, switching to such a physically intense career in my 30s and planning to continue it well into my 40s (and 50s?) has done a number on my body.  This is how I discovered the benefits of Laser Therapy and I am so thankful for its help with my everyday aches and pains. So much so, that my family and I have created Lachagos Laser, in hopes of sharing Laser Therapy's many benefits with you.

Meet Ferd

I moved to Bend in the late 90s to snowboard Mt. Bachelor for a season and it's now been almost 3 decades of this amazing town and all it has to offer.  I play soccer weekly, run frequently, snowboard in the winters, travel in the summers, eat healthily, make a killer salsa and I'm turning 50 years old next year! Just living an active life has been hard on my body and yes, I'm feeling it. My story with Laser Therapy is a little different; I've had massive shoulder pain since college. Because of that, I've seen numerous Western doctors, and tried Eastern medicine and Eastern techniques; I have gone to "woo woo" doctors, massage therapists, you name it, I've tried it. Unfortunately, the only option I've had is to have exploratory surgery and try to fix whatever is wrong, SURGICALLY.  I did not want to go under the knife and that's when Laser Therapy came into my life. I was diligent about going to my appointments and after a while, I just started enjoying them. It was comfortable, warm, relaxing, and quick (only 20 minutes). Fast forward a few months later, I'm having dinner with friends and I reach up for something, and BOOM, I noticed no pain and felt full mobility. This was astonishing to me and I can say with ease that I owe it all to Laser Therapy! It's an honor to be able to start this business so that you too can find the same kind of relief that I have.
